Meet The Artist
I’m Joanna Mesiti—an artist, teacher, mother of 3 and lifelong believer in the power of creativity. For the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching at Xaverian High School, guiding students not just in technique, but in discovering their own creative voices. I hold a BFA in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute and an MA in TESOL from The Touro College and University System.
Painting has always been my passion, and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me than helping children of all ages tap into their imagination and use art as a meaningful outlet for expression. I’ve created a studio space where students can feel safe, inspired, and free to explore who they are through art.
